The Food Incubator SUA in Nitra presented itself at the prestigious START Summit 2026 in St. Gallen, Switzerland, which is one of Europe’s most significant startup conferences. The event annually connects thousands of startups, investors, technology leaders, and innovators from around the world, creating a unique space for new collaborations, inspiration, and growth.
We participated in the event alongside seven other Slovak startups and had the opportunity to present our activities, products, and innovative approach to developing food solutions. The Slovak stand was also the only national stand at the event, which brought us significant visibility and intense interest from visitors from various countries and sectors.
The START Summit program offered a dynamic combination of lectures, panel discussions, a startup exhibition, and networking formats. Meetings with the international startup community and the overall atmosphere of the event provided us with valuable insights into current innovation trends and opened new possibilities for the development of our projects.
A key moment was the direct interaction at our stand, where we held numerous expert discussions with entrepreneurs, startups, investors, and university representatives. These meetings yielded valuable insights and opened new avenues for cooperation, particularly in distribution, expanding our product portfolio, implementing innovative technological solutions in production, as well as in mentoring and training programs.
Participation in START Summit 2026 represents a significant step for the SPU Food Incubator towards internationalization and strengthening its position in the international innovation environment. The experience gained and new connections form a solid foundation for further development and for bringing modern, high-quality, and sustainable food solutions to the market.
